Franks is an institution in Cambridge. We don't get there on a regular basis but anytime we have gone it has been a wonderful dining experience and a great value too. I highly recommend Frank's if you are in the Cambridge area
I love this place. I have never had a bad meal here. It has an old school vibe... it's been there forever and probably looks the same today as it did 20 years ago (to clarify this is not a bad thing!). Great service, solid food, and the burger is a hidden gem... one of the best in the area
The food here is very, very good. We always order filet mignon. It is very reasonably priced. The servers and maitre d are so welcoming. We can have a conversation here, not too noisy and the ambiance is great. This is a really special place! Taking family this coming Sunday.
Order prime rib on Sunday it was great , cooked just like it supposed to be to be and sides mash and carrots were great My friend had the best burger he ever had service was great , the restaurant it's self needs some up dating but service and food do make up for it .suggest get there early if you want to eat after 6 pm very busy place well worth going . They have many items on the menu not just a steak house they do have many other items to order.
Classic! Been coming here for years. I drop in now and then to enjoy a beer, clam chowder, and a sizzler with mashed. It's clean, fair priced, honest food/business here. Not many places like that left. Every server and bartender has been more than kind. The maitre'd is the best! He's been there for a long time and between him and the other host, it's warm service from the second you walk in!
Overall the food was ok. The server was nice. We came for my mom's birthday, and they gave her a dessert on the house. The bread rolls were hard. We got fried calamari, filet mignon, steak tips, and scallops. The steak tips were a bit charred and overcooked. The scallops were a bit overcooked. The red bliss mashed potato was tasty. There's a small parking lot in the back.
